Schneider Haus
Schneider Haus is a typical prosperous Mennonite farmhouse, now located in downtown Kitchener.

The Schneiders arrived early in the 19th century and like most immigrants they quickly built a log house and farm buildings. With the basics in place, the family decided to build a large, Georgian style frame house. This was originally stucco but our model shows it as it was in 1850, finished with white clapboard and grey trim.
