We have questions. Can you help?

In doing research we have concentrated on what we needed to know to build the models but this has left many questionns unanswered. To make the models more accuracte and to provide articles that explain the site and its history, we need your help.

• If you have any general or specific comments to make regarding any part of the 3D model or any of the articles, please contact us.
• If you can answer any of our questions, we would appreciate your help.
• All helpful answers and comments will be posted on the site; if appropriate, we will change the articles or 3D model to conform with the information you provide. If you do NOT want us to publish your name and/or affiliation, let us know in the email. Otherwise all comments and answers will be credited.
• People who consistently help out will be added to our Credits page.
• If you would like to contribute an article, please see our page on submissions.

The most complicated questions surround the reconstruction itself. If you have any information concerning the buildings, please let us know.

• We positioned the buildings without knowing where most of them were located. Do you know the address of any specific building?
• Our list of buildings is probably incomplete. Do you know abou the buildings we haven't included?
• Most of the buildings had clapboard siding. What colours were in use to paint the houses?
• Many people grew hay for their horses. Did everyone own a horse?
• People grew hay, turnips and potatoes. What else did they grow in their gardens?
• How frequent were flower gardens and what flowers were grown?
• Back lots were often fenced in by 5 foot high board fences. Does anyone have details about their design?
• There was a bookstore and a general store, but there were 4 other stores as well. What were they?
• The Timeline is incomplete. Do you have any details about events or people in Toronto around 1810, perhaps an ancestor?
  
• Why did the British and Mississauga need to sign a second treaty for the Toronto Purchase?
• Is Lady Simcoe's diary complete online anywhere? We have only uncovered excerpts.
