the landscape artist Homer Watson. it was built in the 1830s
in the Scottish Gothic style. While the website focuses on the
gallery, there is some historical information on the house and
its occupants.

historical information but there are some useful features such
as maps of Waterloo Township.
The Virtual Museum of Canada has an exhibit on German-Canadian
migration. The site is about migration directly from Germany,
but there is a lot of useful general information. Many Germans
moved to the Kitchener area because the German community there
was strong. Visit their section on German-Canadian folk art.
The Church of the Brethren have a section on Brethren
Life which contains articles about farming communities.
